Part of my “Good Wines Good Times” collection, Skin Contact depicts a sunny afternoon in the sun with bottle of Malavara Orange wine by the producer Raúl Calle and juicy peaches.
In the process of making orange wine, the wine is macerated with the (white) grape skins a number of days or even months to extract the characteristic tannin profile and colour. This period of time is often referred to as “Skin Contact”.
