Part of my “Good Wines Good Times” collection, Perfect Pairing depicts one of the most classical food & wine pairings out there: fresh oysters and a Chablis. This delicious number is by the Robert Goulley Wine Estate.
There’s just something so sexy about oysters (and I’m not only talking about the aphrodisiac effect). They are the quintessential food of desire and arousal, soft, slippery and briny. Paired with a wine that elevates the minerality and marine notes, it’s just an ultra romantic setting all around. There was no way I wouldn’t have included this perfect pair in a collection all about hedonism and desire.
